Red Dot Shotgun Powder Loading Data. I was able to score some red dot powder (yay ). I found some load data for 40 and 45 how does this stuff behave in a pistol cartridge?

So, is 4.5 gr of red dot a safe load. A quick check of reloading data from a 1997 manual with data from a 2014 manual for the same load (rem sts, w209, fig 8 wad, 1 1/8 oz) shows the same powder mass for 1145 and 1200 fps. .125 card under shot 1290 10,700 red dot 21.0 ched.
