Low recoil and low flash make no. 1680 smokeless powder (1 lb) by western & accurate powder. Accurate's published load data for a 124gr lead bullet go from 3.0 to 3.8 grains.

Very Accurate, Meters With Little To No Variation, And Has Been Clean.

1680 is also an excellent choice for the 22 hornet and 7.62 x 39, as well as other low capacity. All using lead bullets with velocities between 900 and 1000fps. No.2 like all the accurate pistol powders is about the reference standard for easy uniform metering, you’d be hard pressed to find much better.
